Who we are
Koppl Consulting is a regional Western Australian advisory practice based in Geraldton, serving small businesses and families across the Mid West. We are deliberately small: a tight team with real experience on both sides of the desk, running businesses and working inside banking.
We are not a big firm with juniors learning on your time, and we are not salespeople with a product to push. We are strategists who sit beside you, work through the numbers in plain English, and stay alongside your accountant, bookkeeper and lender rather than replacing them.
We keep our client numbers deliberately low, so the people you meet here are the people you will actually deal with, every time.
Our mission statement
After years in banking watching good small businesses struggle with their banking, bookkeeping and planning, we founded Koppl Consulting to give them the practical help they were never offered. We exist to make regional small businesses stronger, clearer and better prepared for the future.
Meet our team
We're a small team by choice. Between us, we've run small businesses, worked inside banking, spent decades advising, and learned the hard way that people don't need jargon, they need someone who actually listens and explains things straight. When you work with Koppl Consulting, you get all three of us behind you, and over 45 years of combined business, banking and advisory experience on your side.

I didn't come to advising from a textbook, I came from both sides of the desk.
Before banking, I ran my own small business, Plant Based Eats, supplying supermarkets and cafes with Kombucha and other health foods. I know what it's like to chase invoices, manage cash flow and wonder if the numbers will add up.
Then I spent five years inside the banking industry, from teller through to small business banker. I saw what makes loan applications succeed or fail, and how many hardworking owners struggle with their banking, bookkeeping and planning because nobody explained how money actually works.
That is why I started Koppl Consulting.
I am a qualified accountant and member of the Institute of Public Accountants (IPA). I stay current through seminars on business finance and financial wellbeing, and reading widely across strategy and leadership. You'll find the books that shaped my thinking on our Recommended Reading list.
My aim is simple: help people make decisions that benefit them, and not trap them.
